packing.

First off let me say how sorry I am for not posting "Stick a Pin in it" yesterday. The Bishop household is in a bit of a whirlwind right now and I have been limiting my Pinterest addiction so I actually get real stuff done.

*gasp*

I've been packing our house. I'm going to sound like one of those totally annoying people who drops a bombshell and then leaves everyone hanging.

I promise to explain in due time. Don't hate me...

I could write out a post now but I am so freaking tired and sore and I am suffering for Third Trimester nausea. Is that even a thing? If not, then I just coined the phrase, and the only remedy for this heinous joke from the heavens above has been milk.

Seriously.

Brecken was also out of the good ole' womb by this time and I feel like I am starting to have contractions--I'm guessing it's contractions, it could very well be indigestion though...

In similar news I signed all the forms to have a VBAC delivery today--I told my Doc (if you move to Bozeman I will totally hook.you.up) I wanted to go all natural, she agreed--I have the slightest feeling that she just wants to see me in pain.

Oh, and don't fret about the packing I promise nothing bad has happened.

And yes, I will explain.

And yes (again) I am being super annoying and secretive (I blame John on secrecy).

Mother Nature has been playing a lot of tricks on us lately. 60 degrees and sunny yesterday with a 100% chance of a winter wonderland today.

I even busted out the shorts and capri's for our momentary warm snap. Now, I guess it is back to snow boots and mittens.

Any takers on shoveling my driveway? I will pay in cookies--delicious cookies to be exact.

They're gonna be matchers...

Growing up my sisters and I were always dressed in coordinating outfits. At Christmas time we would get matching dresses and my Mom always had a knack for putting us in color coordinated Easter attire as well.

While I am not a big fan of making my kids dress alike--especially since I will have a boy and girl I thought it would be fun to take a new spin on sibling-coordinated clothing.

I made both shirts using my Silhouette and two bicycle templates from the Silhouette Store.

That's all.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Kelty!

posted on: Sunday, March 4, 2012

My baby sister turns 23 today.

She's a special soul--seriously, ask anyone.

Kelty lives life to the beat of her own drum.

She names her cars, gives them personalities and I am sure she talks to them frequently. She is a super smartie pants type of chick--but yet she resembles Napoleon Dynamite..

She is a lover of photography and prefers to take pictures via pinhole and Holga cameras. She believes DSLR cameras are for sissies--she's a firm believer in film.

Her favorite movie is Empire Records--a real cult classic, and her choice of music is a bit of the beaten path for my taste, but if I ever want to know what is new and cool...she is the "go to" girl.

She's a lover of Otter Pops, wearer of Converse, promoter of house-trained pet rabbits, and a world globe trotter ta'boot.

She's of fan of hand holding, zombie walks, and a kisser of Brecken.

Happy Birthday KP I love you!

Princess Pea Photo Shoot

posted on: Friday, March 2, 2012

I have some exciting news.

So exciting in fact that it has taken all the self-control I possess not to pee my pants.

Self-control seems to be a lost luxury for me now that I am seven months pregnant....

But ya'll sense my excitement, right?

drum roll......

Spunky Junky got featured in a magazine!

Eeeeek!!!
A full-blown magazine with hot fashion tips galore and jaw-dropping models!

I'm kind of blown away right now.

A few months ago I was contacted about putting together some pieces for a fashion photo shoot. The shoot was for T&M Magazine #9 The Pastels Issue and you can only imagine my delight when the photographer and set designer wanted to use my hair accessories.

The shoot turned out better then I could ever imagine.

Tyson Vick, the amazing photographer brought such a soft and lovely feel to the set that truly captured the real beauty of the princess and the pea.

The set design was also to die for--My dear friend Jamie was the set designer and her eye for vintage touches always seems to leave me breathless.
They totally rocked the shoot, right?

And the models? holy gorgeous.

These are just a few of the photos from the Princess Pea and if you are interested in seeing more please visit  T&M Magazine #9

Luckily, for impatient people like me they have digital copies as well as hard copies so you can have instant satisfaction.

;)

Enjoy my lovelies!
