My favorite things giveaway...

posted on: Tuesday, November 20, 2012

Did you happen to watch Oprah's Favorite Things this year? Ah-mazing. The lady sure knows how to shower strangers in love {and gifts}. I got kind of teary-eyed listening to the woman whose husband was a wounded warrior and because of their sacrifices was not able to give Christmas to their children and because of Oprah's generosity her kids would actually get presents this year. I can't give Tempur-Pedic beds and metallic Michael Kors shoes, but I would love to give one of you my favorite items from my shop.

Just leave a comment with what you thankful for this year.

{winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 27th}

  1. I am thankful for my wonderful 2 year old who says funny things like, "My eye is red because skunk got in it." She reminds me every day to see the good in life. I am also thankful for God who has given me so many blessings and helped me to see I can withstand his tests.

  24. As always, I am thankful for my wonderful family, husband, two beautiful daughters and great friends. However, this year I am especially thankful for my sister-in-law to be. My older brother and his two sons have had a tough road in life. My previous sister-in-law has some, shall we say, growing up issues she needs to work on. Because of these problems, my nephews and brother have had their share of abuse, neglect and so many other problems. Now, my brother is a WONDERFUL father and has shown his boys what true and unselfish love is and has done his best to be both parents until about a year ago. My now soon to be sister stepped into this relationship and not only did she love and support my brother but took on the much needed role of female role model in my nephews lives. She is such a shinning example of the goodness in people and I am so thankful she found her way into our lives and opened her heart to love my brother and nephews
