I did a bad, bad thing....

One of my best friends got married this weekend. It was a gorgeous wedding full of food, fun, laughter, crying, late night girl talks, and one smokin' hot bride.

But I did a bad bad thing. I forgot my computer and a SD card for my camera. Which meant no Feature Friday, no blushing bride pictures, and no blog updates for five whole days.

It was torture in the worst form...except for that one time my eyelids got paralyzed opened (another story for another time).

Feature Friday

In T-minus 10 minutes I will be loading Punk in the car and hitting the road to get to Utah for my Grammy's Birthday. She's turning the big 8-0.

She's a sassy little thing that  knows more about American Idol, People magazine, and celebrity gossip then most young adults.

Yeah, she's that hip.

And, speaking of hip, I just came across the coolest project ever. No joke. This project is so awesome that I am chomping at the bit to get to Utah so I can do some serious shopping.

Before I unveil the coolest project ever let me pose a scenario. How many times have you gone rug shopping? Do you often fret and stay up late at night searching to find the right rug? Do you cringe at the price of most rugs? Does your husband about have a heart attack when you tell him that the rug you are drooling to own only costs $299 (on sale)?

Well, if you answered "yes" to any of these questions then do I have they coolest tutorial for you!

Laura, from Design Sponge, not only created a rug out of a table clothe, but she has saved the wallets of husbands everywhere.

Feature Friday: Fun Patterns (of all kinds...)

What better way to spend a Friday then with me, right?

 eh? eh?

Punk is still puking his guts out and I have come to the conclusion that in my next life (or even this one) I should be a marathon runner, because man oh' man do I have some stamina. Not only did I stay up all night with the munchkin but I changed his (and my) bedding five times, gave him three bathes, changed who knows how many diapers, and I am still alive this morning.

At the current moment...he is fast asleep in the bathtub.

This kid is pooped out and now that he is finally sleeping I am elated!

(insert: pom poms and uber excited cheerleaders yelling "Yay!")

So what better way to celebrate then to have ya'll show me some of your favorite tutorials and ideas.

Eye candy is the best because I don't gain any weight.
