Awesome Sauce Valentine Printable
posted on: Thursday, February 13, 2014
I've come to realize that procrastination is the key to success in our house. So if you're still looking for a last-minute valentine that is easy (and relatively healthy) here you go! Cheers, friends. I'm with family all weekend while John is gone on his birthday vacay--we've reached that pinnacle point in our marriage where we shrug off being together for the biggest love fest of the year. By golly, I'll just say every day is a love fest in our home :)
See you next week!
I am your parent you are my child

The weekend is nigh my friends! Big plans are in store for the Bishop house--the annual purging of baby clothes and spring cleaning is upon us! It's not glamorous, but I relish the idea of one day having a house free of baby toys and all that jazz, they've become a worthy nemesis at three in the morning.
Plugging away at the kids room is also on the agenda. And this little ditty will be added to their wall soon. If you've never read You Are My I Love You by Maryann Cusimano it's a must have for your child's collection. The book has been a hot topic as of recently when 14 photographers came together to document how they see they children in a new online project entitled You are my Wild. I love the book so much and I find that it speaks to the most simplistic yet amazing moments of parenthood.
If you would like a copy of the print you can find it here. To get a large (and inexpensive copy) simply upload it to Staples and print on their engineering paper. The file is large enough that I was able to make a 36x48"print, but my favorite size is the 24x36". The wording is perfect, but the triangles get a bit grainy the larger the print.
*Also, I know there is a typo on the picture (if you can find it "yay! for you"). The downloaded version is fixed.

Bursting Bubbles Valentines
posted on: Friday, February 10, 2012

Brecken is handing out his very own Valentine's cards this year--that is if he doesn't rip them to shreds trying to get to the bubbles first.
The kid is kind of obsessed or neurotic--either one describes him quite well...
;)
{Get me here}
Here's your very own copy of the bursting bubbles valentines card.
Each valentine is sized to be a 4x6 so they can be printed off as pictures--I printed mine at THE Costco.
**If you are wanting the white border around the picture you will need to make sure that it doesn't overlap over the writing before you print.

I Loathe Easter Grass, but I do Love Free Printables...
posted on: Wednesday, April 6, 2011
My old Easter decorations were kind of obnoxious. There was a lot of fake grass, eggs, and baskets. This year--I went for a more simplified look that excluded any form of grass. I think the inventor of Easter grass is in cahoots with the vacuum cleaner industry....
To make my bunny banner I found a peep stencil at Petit Design Co., I then used paint sample cards to cut out each rabbit. Once I cut out all my hoppers I sewed them together. Easy-Peasy.
If you would like a copy of "Meet my Peeps" and "Hippity Hop" you can get them here and here. I printed mine out at Costco on 11x14 photo paper, but you could also do 8x10 copies as well.
*Enjoy*

{Free Printable} Start the New Year with a POP!
posted on: Wednesday, December 29, 2010
Hello, my name is Halsey and I like to wait until the last minute to do things.
I really procrastinated this year. I sent my Christmas New Years cards out yesterday. ahhhhhhhhhh!
Anyway, I thought that it would be neat to take the cards to our friends and familie's houses and give them an extra surprise. Why not bring in the New Year with a POP?
This printable would also be great to put on New Year's Eve party favors, right?
And can you guess what my newest splurge was that totally gave this give some added spunk? That's right when we were in Denver last week I hit up Crate and Barrel and contained myself from not buying the ENTIRE store, instead I walked out with two lovely spools of baker's twine. It the coolest thing next to sliced bread, and believe me I have lived without sliced bread and sandwiches are not nearly the same.
So if you want this free printable to make YOUR OWN awesome New Year's party favors you can get it here!
And as an extra treat, don't forget to check out this week's amazing giveaway from Blooming Adjectives!
