{Tutorial Tuesday} Camera Strap

posted on: Tuesday, February 8, 2011

So I gave my camera strap some love yesterday. And I figured that since there are many, a lot, a big whoppin' huge handful of tutorials out there on how to make camera straps I wouldn't make a tutorial because, well, because there is no point in repeating history, right? So I figured I would make today fun and I would direct you to some of  favorites camera strap lovin' ladies.

Tatertots and Jello provides you with a ruffled camera strap
Tip Nut has SIXTEEN different camera strap tutorials WOW!
Skip to my Lou has a cute strap that can be reversible
Crap I've made sewed her strap onto the existing strap hardware.

I got the tutorial for my camera strap from The Cottage Home.

I made a few adjustments for my strap. When you see the look at the tutorial you will see that Lindsay used fusible fleece to pad the inside of her strap. The roads were a death trap yesterday I figured I wouldn't detour across town for some silly fleece so I just used what I had at home...which was an old jersey sweater. Few cuts and stitches later and voila!

Enjoy! If you have a camera strap idea that you would love to share feel free to hit me up! ALSO.....don't forget that Wednesday is the last day to take a chance to win a sweet newsboy hat from Jane Henry.

IF you want a chance to win hustle over here!
